Certification Agreement

This Certification Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) governs participation in CADFEM's Ansys Certification Program (the “Program”) and supplements the CADFEM Terms of Service (the “Terms”). By clicking “I agree,” registering for an Exam, or accessing the Program, you confirm your acceptance of this Agreement and all associated policies. If you do not agree, you are not permitted to participate in the Program, take any Exams, or receive a Certification.

Definitions
  • Certification: The recognition you receive upon successfully completing an Exam as part of the Program.
  • Badge: A digital certificate issued by CADFEM via Credly, which certifies your successful completion and passing of a specific Certification Exam.
  • Exam: An assessment associated with specific CADFEM training courses.
  • Exam Content: All components of an Exam, including questions, answers, images, graphs, and related materials.
  • You: The individual taking the Exam and the sole holder of the Certification.
Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must meet all prerequisites defined by CADFEM. Certifications are awarded solely to individuals and cannot be claimed by entities.

Certification Issuance and Use
  1. If you pass an Exam, CADFEM will issue you a Certification and a digital Badge.
  2. Badges may be shared via approved methods, such as:
    • Adding them to your email signature.
    • Displaying them on social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter).
    • Including them in presentations or documents.
  3. You may not modify the Badge text, alter embedded code, or link the Badge to unauthorized web addresses.
Exam Policies

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

  • Exam Content is the exclusive property of CADFEM and is strictly confidential. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or share Exam Content by any means, including online forums, social media, or discussion groups.
  • Any breach of confidentiality may result in sanctions as outlined below.

Conduct During Exams

You agree to uphold the integrity of the Exam process by refraining from the following actions:

  1. Sharing or distributing Exam Content.
  2. Using unauthorized materials, devices, or assistance during the Exam.
  3. Providing false information during registration.
  4. Hiring or soliciting others to take the Exam on your behalf.
  5. Misrepresenting your Certification status.
Exam Scoring and Retakes
  • Passing scores may vary between Exams and versions. CADFEM reserves the right to establish or adjust passing criteria without notice.
  • If you fail an Exam, you are allowed one retake. Additional attempts will require a new registration and payment.
  • Some questions in the Exam may be unscored test items, and you will not be informed of their status.
Certification Validity and Revocation
  1. Certifications may have a validity period, after which renewal is required through additional training or exams.
  2. CADFEM may revoke your Certification for any violations of this Agreement, including:
    • Misuse of the Certification or Badge.
    • Misrepresentation of your status.
    • Breach of confidentiality or intellectual property rights.
  3. If revoked, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Certification and remove references from documents, systems, or social media.
Violations and Consequences

If CADFEM determines that you have violated this Agreement, it may:

  1. Revoke your Certification and Badge(s).
  2. Ban you from future participation in the Program.
  3. Seek reimbursement for costs or damages resulting from the violation.

Decisions regarding violations are final, and there is no appeals process. Notice of violations and penalties will be sent to your registered email address.

Limitation of Liability

CADFEM does not guarantee specific career outcomes or benefits from obtaining a Certification. Participation in the Program is at your own risk.

Amendments

CADFEM reserves the right to update this Agreement and associated policies at its discretion. Participants will be notified of significant changes.
